See Santa at the Farmer’s Market
Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special trip to visit children at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Dec. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the biggest holiday event in Scripps Ranch this weekend and parents are welcome to take photos of their kids with this special couple from the North Pole. This will be their 16th annual visit to the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market.
That’s not all. The Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market will hold a raffle for a child’s bicycle, and it’s free to enter. There will also be a free Christmas Penguin Treasure hunt with toys as prizes, a free crafts booth for children, a Jumpee and slide, a free face painter for kids, a free balloon artist, a caricature artist and candy canes for everyone. Live holiday music will be playing in the bistro food court all day.
The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for shopping at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot.
Browse among more than 55 booths with a selection of food, services, produce and merchandise. Enjoy a day of fun while looking for those last-minute gift items in a friendly community market. Shop for holiday gifts and enjoy food and sweet treats. The Farmer’s Market serves breakfast and lunch. Grab something to eat, sit down and enjoy live music in the food court. This event is very family-friendly.
Next weekend, the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 30, so that vendors will be able to spend holiday time with their families. It will re-open on Saturday, Jan. 6 with new hours: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visit srfm.org.
