Sip ‘n’ Shop at the Night Market
Local momtrepreneurs are extending an invitation for residents to visit a special Scripps Ranch Night Market Sip ‘n’ Shop event Wednesday, July 26 in the parking lot of Pastel Bakery, 12205 Scripps Poway Parkway, Suite 104. The event will be a “girls’ night out” full of shopping and socializing from 6 to 8:30 p.m. that evening.
Guests may sip sparkling sangria while browsing and shopping at vendor booths located in the parking lot in the southwest corner of Scripps Poway Parkway and Pomerado Road.
Trish McEvoy National makeup artists will provide eye-lift make up touch ups. The night will also include Stella&Dot, Ever Skin, LipSense, LuLaRoe and Bar Method Carmel Mountain.
Proceeds from purchases during the evening will go toward supporting the Alabaster Jar Project, a North County-based nonprofit organization that helps women victims of human trafficking receive help and build new lives. The organization provides basic daily essentials; a safe living environment and transitional housing; and support for healing and building a vocation.
Celebrity guest Monica Dean, the Emmy Award-winning news anchor from San Diego NBC 7 News, will be on hand to greet the public. In addition, Susan Johnson, the CEO of the Alabaster Project, will also be in attendance.
The Night Market was planned primarily by Pastel Bakery owner and longtime Scripps Ranch resident Joann Leo, and sponsored by Jocelyn Lomahan of Barron Real Estate Group.
Those needing more information may call Joann Leo, (858) 842-1026. The first 50 to RSVP will receive free swag bags. To RSVP, use this shortcut: bit.ly/2uWh420.
