SR Boulevard was all steamed-up
Scripps Ranch residents leaving their homes Saturday morning, June 10, were greeted by rain water covering the ground and heavy mist falling from the skies. Some paved parking lots and streets such as the northern part of Scripps Ranch Boulevard, appeared to have fog rising upward, instead of coming downward from the sky. The cool mist hitting the warm pavement caused the steam to form and move upward. It made an eerie scene but soon disappeared as the mist stopped falling and the air temperature warmed.
