Pet of the Week: Demeter

Demeter is a 3-year-old cat who was found as a stray with her kittens. Now that her babies are grown, mama is ready for a home of her own. She can be shy when meeting new people, so she he would appreciate a patient adopter who can respect her boundaries.

Once she is comfortable, Demeter is sweet and affectionate. She would be happiest in a home without dogs or small children.

Her adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and waived enrollment fee for medical insurance from PetFirst.

Demeter is available for adoption at San Diego Humane Society’s Oceanside Campus at 572 Airport Road. To learn more about making her part of your family, call (619) 299-7012.

Name: Demeter
