Cards for those quarantined at Miramar
Jean Chalupsky, eighth grade English teacher at Marshall Middle School, asked her students to create these cards for those quarantined at MCAS Miramar because of the coronavirus crisis. She dropped them off March 17, St. Patrick’s Day.
Chalupsky started the project with her social justice club, which is called The Just People Club. She then had all of her classes make cards. They made more than 180 cards each time. They wanted to make the quarantine a little more cheerful for those going through the long process.
Zoe Abrahams, a parent, provided all the supplies for the cards.
