Colorful characters perform at SRHS Band Night
The Scripps Ranch High School Music Department held its annual End of Year Concert in the school’s quad the evening of June 2. This year’s event was titled the Animusic Concert and it featured compositions from popular animated works. In addition, student performers dressed in colorful costumes, adding to the lighthearted and lively atmosphere.
The evening included a red carpet entrance, artist Alex Sinclair from DC Comics, a silent auction and food from Rita’s of Scripps Ranch, God Save the Cuisine and The Taco Man.
By all accounts this year’s performance by the many students in the Scripps Ranch High School Music Department was a vivid and spirited extravaganza filled with both sound and motion, not to be forgotten.
