SDARÂ hosts military housing workshop
The Housing Opportunities Committee of the Greater San Diego Association of Reators® (SDAR) will host a free workshop to educate active and retired military personnel and families about using their Veterans Administration (VA) loans.
The event is Saturday, July 8, at Anchors Catering & Conference Center at Naval Base San Diego, from 8:30 a.m. noon. The address is 2375 Recreation Way (located outside of the Main Street Gate).
Active-duty, reservist, and retired military who attend will find out how to choose a Realtor® with VA experience and start on the path to homeownership. Additional topics include:
- How to protect and improve credit
- Expert answers to home buying questions
- Understanding how much you can afford
- Special military loan programs and grants
- How to utilize the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) to work for your long-term wealth
Representatives from Caliber Loans, Loan Depot, Military Home Loans, and Springboard Home Loans will be speaking; however, this is a non-profit, non-solicitation program.
