A big night for lacrosse
Scripps Ranch High School hosted a big night of activities for lacrosse enthusiasts on Friday, April 6.
In the evening’s main event, the Falcons boys varsity lacrosse team defeated La Jolla High School 9 to 6. Scripps Ranch scored first, then La Jolla scored. The teams traded goals as the game became tied at 2 to 2. Then Scripps Ranch broke the tie, scoring its third goal, and continued to lead for the rest of the game for the victory.
Earlier, the Scripps Ranch High boys JV lacrosse team defeated La Jolla 5 to 3.
It was also Youth Night as young lacrosse players from Scripps Ranch were allowed to watch the high school players in action close-up.
Meanwhile, a very good Falcons girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to La Jolla that same night, where it lost to the Vikings for the second time this season, 11-13.
