Farmers Open enters final day

Golf pro Xander Schauffele – a former Scripps Ranch High School golfer – made the cut Friday and competed in the second to last day of the 2019 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Meanwhile, Justin Rose appears to be in command of the tournament as he compiled a three-stroke lead heading into Sunday.

But Schauffele, playing in the “power group” with Tiger Woods and Tony Finau, continued to enjoy large crowds as a blimp floated overhead and play continued in San Diego. (Photos on this page are from Jan. 25.)
