Lady Falcons enter busy week of action
The Scripps Ranch High School varsity girls softball team enters the last phase of its season. Three upcoming games includes a game at University High at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30; a contest at Bonita Vista High at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 2; and a home game against Steele Canyon starting at noon on Saturday, May 4.
Earlier this month, the team dropped a tough one to Rancho Buena Vista High School 7-5 on April 20. Photos on this page are from that game.
It was slowing going for the Lady Falcons and the team didn’t score its first run until the fifth inning when it broke out for a total of three.
Later, Scripps Ranch battled back by scoring one run in both the fifth and sixth innings. As the home team, the Lady Falcons had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, but could not pull off a victory.
