Scripps Ranch Majors lose a heartbreaker

Scripps Ranch played very exciting ball but suffered a tough 4-5 loss to Point Loma in a thrilling game during the 2018 Little League District 32 Majors All-Stars Championship game at Jerabek Park on Saturday, July 7. The teams consisted of 11- and 12-year-old players.

Point Loma scored first but in the fifth inning Scripps Ranch bats got hot. Then Point Loma came back, making it 5 to 3 to close out the inning. Scripps Ranch was up first in the sixth inning, with Dan Feiner stepping up to the plate to hit a home run, bringing the score to 4-5. While Scripps Ranch played with a lot of heart, the team could not manage to score any other runs before the end of the game, closing out an eventful season.
