SRHS opening game halted, rescheduled

The Scripps Ranch High School boys varsity baseball opening game at Torrey Pines High School on Saturday, March 3, was rained out before the end of the first inning and was scheduled to resume on Monday.

First at bat was the home team, the Torrey Pines Falcons. At the bottom of the first, while Scripps Ranch was at bat, the rain started to come down heavy and the game was called.  The score at the time was 4-0, with Torrey Pines leading.
