Tickets available for Taste of the Ranch

The Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) Foundation will hold its eleventh annual Taste of the Ranch fundraising event from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Hotel Karlan San Diego – a Doubletree by Hilton, located at 14455 Penasquitos Drive in Carmel Mountain. Funds raised through this event will directly benefit SRHS athletic teams and academic clubs.

Community members are invited to partake in “delicious signature tastes, local beer, wine and a vodka bar, as well as a sensational silent auction, a casino, dancing and music provided by a professional local DJ,” according to the event website. Auction items this year include tickets to Elton John’s Farewell Tour, a one-week vacation rental in Kauai, and eight front row seats to an SRHS graduation ceremony. 

Last year’s event welcomed more than 300 attendees and raised more than $23,000 for SRHS students. Local tastes this year will be provided by Ashoka the Great, Asado Grill, Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks, Louziana Food, Pazzos, On the Border, Ballast Point, Starbucks Coffee, Rita’s, Little Italy Bar and Grill, Yanni’s Bar and Grill, and vodka will be provided by Homes by Felicity.

“Taste of the Ranch is one of our community’s most popular and highly-anticipated events of the year, and it’s all for a very worthy cause,” said Jillian Frisbie, Taste of the Ranch chair. “It was so much fun last year. I hope to see even more of our community come together again to support our high school and make new memories while enjoying a fun night out.”

Tickets may be purchased online for $70 per person if purchased by April 6, or $75 per person if purchased at the event. Tickets may be purchased online at tasteoftheranch.com.
