on Nov. 10.
SR local joins concert performance
Singer Songwriter Events presents Marty Panzer on Nov. 10 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Adat Shalom Concert Hall, 15905 Pomerado Road in Poway.
Hear the music and the stories behind the music in this live show. Performers will include Shaine Macy Ingamells, a Scripps Ranch High 2018 graduate. She is currently studying voice in college and is home to perform for this special event.
The performance will be a fascinating, funny and emotional evening with Panzer, songwriter and life-long friend of Barry Manilow. Together, they crafted Barry’s greatest hits “Even Now,” “It’s a Miracle,” “This One’s for You” and many more. With Steve Dorff, Panzer wrote the classic “Through the Years” for Kenny Rogers. Panzer has written 50 songs for “Disney’s Princesses” and received an Annie Award nomination for “We are One” from “The Lion King II.”
He also wrote the score for Disney’s “Pocahontas II,” has a song about to be released by Barbra Streisand, and has sold more 70 million records altogether.
Cantor Lori Frank, Shaine Ingamells, Jim Boydston, Juliet Lyons, Matt Ignacio and Tracey Marino will perform.
