Collins will end her run as Girl Scout manager
Longtime Scripps Ranch resident Cynthia Collins is retiring as the overall leader of the Girl Scouts of Scripps Ranch at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
Collins has been with the Scripps Ranch Girl Scouts for 21 straight years and has been the manager for almost 14 years in January. She has served on the management team for 20 years, and was a Daisy consultant for six years.
“I helped build many Scout troops that have already graduated from high school and college,” she said. “With 5 grand kids and running our business, it’s time to give someone else a chance to lead our service unit. That person is Traci Johnson, who’s been my co-manager since last year. Traci is currently the leader of her two daughters’ troops and is personally committed to continue leading our Scripps Ranch Service Unit with excellence.”
