Falcons lose in overtime
The Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) varsity boy’s basketball team participated in a tournament this weekend, losing an overtime game in its home gym to Ridgefield High, 42-46, on Saturday, Dec. 30.
The Falcons were leading with 2 seconds left on the clock, when Ridgefield hit a three-point shot to tie up the game and send it into overtime. Ridgefield then dominated overtime and won the game 46 to 42.
The SRHS boys will visit Serra High School on Wednesday, Jan. 3 for a game scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
