Football team preps for CIF quarterfinals
The Scripps Ranch High School varsity football team won its last regular season game of 2021 by defeating Canyon Hills High School 58-12 on Oct. 29.
This brings the Falcons record to 8-1, but the there is more in store as the team enters CIF-SD post season play at home on Friday, Nov. 12 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. Scripps Ranch is the number two seed in the 2021 CIF-SDS Football Division 2 Championships. The team earned a bye this week in the first round and enters next week’s game in the quarterfinal round. Scripps Ranch will play 10th seeded Central High from El Centro in the quarterfinal match-up.
