Soccer season gets underway
The Scripps Ranch High School womens varsity soccer team started the season with a 5-1 victory against Grossmont High on Nov. 30 before falling to Steele Canyon High 1-0 on Dec. 2.
The team is scheduled to play Academy of Our Lady of Peace on Dec. 9 at Scripps Ranch, starting at 6 p.m.
Scripps Ranch gets a break until Jan. 4 when the players are scheduled to travel to Mission Bay High for a contest starting at 6 p.m.
