SRHS mens wrestlers place at Championships
Wrestlers from the Scripps Ranch High School varsity mens wrestling team competed in the CIF San Diego Section Division 2 Championships on Feb. 12.
The team placed fourth with 120.5 points. Eight Scripps Ranch High wrestler’s qualified for the San Diego Section Masters Championship set for Feb. 19.
Here are the results from the Division 2 Championships:
- Noah Harris placed sixth in the D2-108 class.
- Quentin Viramontes placed fourth in the D2-122 class.
- Ryu Pitts placed sixth in the D2- 134 class.
- Garrett Elliott placed fifth in the D2-140 class.
- Jack Hamilton placed fifth in the D2-147 class.
- Jun Melchior placed second in the D2-154 class.
- Max Brown placed fifth in the D2-162 class.
- Kyan Lincoln placed second in the D2-287 class.
