Farmer’s Market presents Spring Fling
Parents and their children should look forward in anticipation to Thursday, April 17, when the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market and Family Festival will feature its annual Spring Fling celebration.
“There will be Easter treats for all the kids, and the Easter Bunny will be there,” said Bev Cassity, Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market manager. “Bring your cameras (and cell phones) and take as many photos as you like.”
Colorful inflatable characters will be standing near the front entrance to the market. Parents can take pictures of their children next to the inflatables and also with the Easter Bunny.
“We’re going to make it really, really colorful, and we’ll have music,” Cassity explained.
The Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market and Family Festival always has an abundance of vendors selling everything from jewelry to household goods to clothing. A popular highlight of the market is the wide assortment of numerous food vendors offering a delectable selection of cuisine from all corners of the world.
“We have loads of new vendors, too,” Cassity said.
As always, Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market attendees will be able to enter Newtopia Cyder for adult refreshments.
The Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market and Family Festival is held from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at 10045 Carroll Canyon Road.
