Comfy clothes in great colors

Walk along the rows of booths at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market and one can’t help but look closer at a vibrant display of colorful clothing often swaying in the breeze. You’ve arrived at the LuLaRoe booth.

Lisa Marie Sulit always has several racks of LuLaRoe clothing on display each Saturday. She has been a LueLaRoe independent retailer for two years but she was a customer before that time.

“I started wearing the clothing. I was introduced by a friend of mine,” Sulit said. “I pretty much got addicted to it because they are simply comfortable, very soft. The patterns are so unique that it’s very attracting. … They make a limited amount (of each print). You won’t see the same prints on other customers.”

LuLaRoe clothing is made from a variety of fabric blends including cotton, polyester, rayon and spandex. There are sizes to fit every body type, from XXS to XXXL, Sulit said.

“The leggings are extremely soft. … We have a variety of skirts: pencil skirts, flowy skirts,” she explained. “We have dresses. We have dresses that you can dress up or dress down; fitted dresses, loose fitting dresses, dresses with pockets, skirts with pockets. We also have long skirts called maxi-skirts. … We have cover ups that you can wear throughout the year. Some are lightweight. Some are made out of heavier material.”

Prices range from $25 to $100.

Sulit said that LuLaRoe clothing now dominates her own closet, and that LuLaRoe items last a long time. She said some of her own personal LuLaRoe clothes have lasted more than 2 ½ years. Now, the clothing line has taken over her living room, she said, laughing that she has an in-home boutique. Her family has gotten involved with helping her, she added.

Many customers do business with Sulit on Facebook. Find her page on Facebook by searching for LuLaRoe Lisa Marie.

Look for Lisa Marie Sulit’s LuLaRoe booth at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market, which is open for shoppers from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every single Saturday at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot. Visit srfm.org.
