Miramar Ranch holds a big Movie Night
A large, happy crowd gathered at Miramar Ranch Elementary School for a free special Movie Night promised to its students as a reward for reading books for a total of 230,000 minutes in January.
Before the movie began, Miramar Ranch held a Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair fundraiser in the school’s library, and a small assortment of food trucks were on-site to serve supper and cold treats to hungry attendees. Then, the school presented a screening of “Moana” on the upper playground. A warm evening turned cool as the sun set and the movie was projected on an inflatable screen. Later, a bright moon rose behind a grove of trees, providing a perfect backdrop to a most pleasant evening.
