Show off your workspace
Have you created a special area for yourself to work from home during this period of forced isolation? Or did you make room for your kids to do their schoolwork to accommodate distance learning? Why not share your set-up with the rest of Scripps Ranch so everyone can see the different ways the community has adjusted with home office or home study areas? Your photo will be posted on ScrippsRanchNews.com and some will be selected to run in the next print issue of Scripps Ranch News. Simply take a photo of your work area and email to info@scrippsranchnews.com. Please include the name of the family and the name of the photographer.

Writing campaign for health care workers
Scripps Ranch resident Victoria Muschek is coordinating a card and letter writing campaign to support the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers in San Diego during the COVID-19 crisis. This is a creative writing or art project for kids. Anyone may write a supportive note and/or create a nice picture to send. Everyone is asked to spread the word and share with family and friends or on your social media. Let’s show our healthcare workers how much we appreciate them keeping our community safe. Questions may be directed to Victoria Muschek: bmuschek@san.rr.com
Anyone who wants to participate can send cards or letters by May 8 to:
