Falcons softball: staying competitive

Players on the Scripps Ranch High School varsity softball team look and play like pros. They also provide plenty of excitement and obviously enjoy their sport and the camaraderie that goes along with being on a competitive team.

Over the weekend, Scripps Ranch lost to Mission Hills in a thriller, 8-10, on Saturday, April 14. SRHS was behind the entire game, but in the sixth inning the team rallied, scoring four runs to bring the game within reach, 8-9. But Mission Hills scored again in the seventh inning, making it 8 to 10. Scripps Ranch just could not score another run and the game concluded with a loss for the Lady Falcons. Photos on this page are from that game.

Sporting a 9-6 overall record, 2-0 in conference play, the Lady Falcons will travel to take on Cathedral Catholic High School on Wednesday, April 18, in a conference game beginning at 3:30 p.m. at 5555 Del Mar Heights Road.
