Don’t miss the ‘last chance sale’

There’s not much time left to stock up on great books for the entire family at Grace’s Book Nook, the volunteer-run used bookstore in the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library, before the library closes for upgrades.

Open Tuesdays-Saturdays during library hours, the Book Nook stocks books for all ages and tastes, plus magazines, DVDs, CDs, greeting cards, and more. It also has a nice selection of antiquarian and vintage books, in addition to collectors’ editions specially priced at a fraction of online prices. All purchases support the library.

The Special Pre-Closure Sale on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be the last big sale before the library’s upcoming prolonged closure for upgrades. Those who bring their Yellow Bag (received at a past sale) will be able to take advantage of the popular $10 per bag special. A very limited number of these generously sized yellow bags may also be available at the sale, while the supply lasts.

Past book sale customers are also invited to return with their Yellow Bag and fill it in the Book Nook for only $10 from May 2 until the closure.
